Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (TF-CBTp) is a specialized form of therapy that integrates trauma-focused elements into standard cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis (CBTp) to help people who have experienced trauma and also have symptoms of psychosis, such as delusions and hallucinations.
The therapy aims to help individuals process their traumatic memories and beliefs, develop coping skills, and reduce distress related to their trauma and psychotic symptoms.
